New: You can trim your media files directly in Canvas Studio:
Zoom
You don't have to use Zoom just for hosting or participating in meetings. You can also use Zoom to record yourself "presenting!" Video recordings can be saved to the cloud or locally on your computer and uploaded to Canvas Studio. See this .
Important note: Don't plan to store all your videos on Zoom long term -- Zoom's retention policy automatically deletes cloud recordings after 1 year, and there is no warning before deletion. Be sure to download and back up any videos you plan to keep.
Classroom Capture
If you are teaching in person on campus, consider using the recording service available at some classrooms (there are 50 classrooms available on Main and East campus). This service is fully supported by OIT and help/training is available.
