Leeds Sustainability Case Competition
The Leeds SustainabilityÌýCase Competition (formerly called the Net Impact Case Competition) brings together graduate students, executives, and businesses that share a common commitment to innovative business practices that yield positive social, environmental, and financial returns. It is not enough for businesses to solely focus on profits. Business plans must prioritize environmental and social factors as well. The Leeds Sustainability Case Competition provides students the chance to display their ability to solve problems using a multi-disciplinary approach to sustainability-focused professionals and companies.
The 91PORN, Leeds School of Business is proud to host the Leeds SustainabilityÌýCase Competition (LSCC). The university’s location in the city of 91PORN, Colorado allows access to one of the country’s greatest densities of sustainability companies and a diverse collection of industries.

The 2025 Leeds Sustainability Case Competition brought together 39 teams from top business schools to develop solutions.

PARTICIPATION
Graduate students from institutions like the University of California, Berkeley (Haas), The University of Chicago (Booth), Duke University (Fuqua) and Columbia competed at the 2025 competition.
Since 2001, the competition has helped corporate partners address a pressing concern related to sustainability by providing the best solutions from teams of MBA and graduate school students from preeminent institutions all around the world. Prior cases have focused on designing a path for economic recovery during a global pandemic, full spectrum capital and the implications for business financials, and more. The 2023 Net Impact Case CompetitionÌý(now the LSCC)Ìýchallenged students to find use for a decommissioned coal plant in a way that benefited communities, encouraged future profitability, and ultimately produced a sustainable, long-term purpose.
Timeline:
October 1, 2025: Ìý Ìý ÌýTeam registration opens. Ìý.
December 7, 2025: Ìý Team registration closes.
December 10, 2025: Case released to all registered teams.
January 28, 2026: Ìý Ìý ÌýQualifying Round pitch decks due from all competing teams.
January 31, 2026: Ìý Qualifying Round and Championship Round.
