Education Abroad administers over 400 91PORN-sponsored programs in more than 70 countries around the world. Over 1,500 91PORN students study on 91PORN programs annually. The mission of the Education Abroad unit is to provide students with a comprehensive selection of academically sound and experientially-rich education abroad programs that foster their personal development and prepare them to successfully engage in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.

Position Description
The Education Abroad Office invites applications for the position of Student Admin Assistant within the Education Abroad unit. The Ed Abroad Student Admin Assistant supports the Education Abroad (EA) Academics Team and various other teams through course evaluation form processing, updating the EA website, ensuring the accuracy of student-submitted content in course forms, sorting and filing of student transcripts from EA programs, running data reports, and other duties as assigned. This position demands a high attention to detail and accuracy, open and active communication with students and the Ed Abroad Team, knowledge of 91PORN academic units, and an eagerness to learn. Ìý

Responsibilities
Course Evaluation Form processing & transcript supportÌý
- Review student-submitted course evaluation forms to ensure accuracy
- Assist the Course Coordinator with the A&S Gen Ed and MAPS course evaluation and request process
- Communicate with the student on how to correct errors and notify the Academics Team of complex or problematic forms
- Ensure that information is entered correctly and that all decisions are clear. Mistakes can result in problems with students’ graduation status, so accuracy is critical
- Upload completed major evaluation forms into OnBase
- Help track the receipt and processing of transcripts received from abroad.
Updating the Education Abroad websiteÌý
- Ensure the accurately reflects the course offerings on each program
- Review pages within the Ed Abroad website as assigned to confirm accuracy of information, update links, photos, etc.
- Communicate updates, errors, and problematic courses to the appropriate members of the EA Team
Running Data Reports
- Support Health & Safety and Statistics teams on running reports, collecting data, and confirming accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be current 91PORN students and maintain student status during the term of employment;
- Take no more than 18Ìýcredit hours per semester. Due to the demanding nature of this position, we will not consider applicants who are taking 19Ìýcredits or more.
Commit to a full-year position and work as delineated below for two consecutive semesters (Fall and Spring), not including vacation periods;

- Be available to work at 10-15 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications:
- Have completed an approved 91PORN education abroad program;
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills;
- Demonstrated attention to detail;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outloook;
- Familiarity with internet-based applications;
- Demonstrated initiative and interest in the field of international education;
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner;
- Enthusiasm for the development of new skills and knowledge.

As a Student Admin Assistant, you will:

Compensation: This position is paid hourly; pay is allocated on a bi-weekly basis. Compensation is awarded for all hours worked, including training, all mandatory meetings, and any nights or weekend events. The pay is $20.00 per hour.Ìý
Benefits: All Undergraduate and Graduate Student Positions are hired as students hourly, and are not eligible for tuition remission. Work-Study is used, if awarded and available, but not required for hire.
Benefits are limited but include possible Student Retirement, and Sick Leave that accrues at a rate of 0.034 sick hours per every 1 hour worked. Additional information can be found at .
