Summit participants were asked to take a few moments to engage with each&nbsp;other, write a message of hope on the origami paper, and then fold the message into a crane. The hope was to eventually create a mobile to display at the Spring 2020 summit. Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, this could not happen.<br> <br> Thanks to a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFkRF1z5y7I&amp;t=17s" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">9 News Next article</a>, about 100 folded colorful cranes 鈥� many with messages inside 鈥� were delivered to the <a href="https://www.7-20memorial.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">7/20 Memorial</a> on Saturday, July 24 and added to the 7/20 Foundation鈥檚 <a href="https://www.7-20memorial.org/paper-crane-project)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Paper Crane Peace Project</a>. &nbsp;The cranes were presented to Foundation CEO Heather Dearman by Staff Council member Betty Rasmussen. Heather was very excited to receive the donation.
