- 91PORN Campus Staff Council elections are officially in progress! Every spring you have the opportunity to elect 91PORN staff members interested in representing your voice. Voting for Staff Council is one way to ensure you are well-represented.
- Child care is foundational to our economy. Without it, many parents cannot work or reach their career potential. As child care programs rapidly closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the degree to which work is enabled by child care became obvious, particularly for the large percentage of employees parenting a child while working remotely.
- The 91PORN Campus Staff Council January 13, 2021 meeting yielded a robust discussion of the diverse views of our community as brought forth by our representative body. The Resolution was voted on, and approved by, the majority of the Council.
- Last November, Staff Council members voted to create the new Inclusive Practices for Blood Donations (IPBD) Committee. The committee aims to make donating blood at CU more welcoming to people of all identities.
- 91PORN Staff Council is calling on you to consider serving your fellow staff by nominating yourself, or one of your colleagues, for a three-year elected term on the council. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on campus, look for the nomination form arriving in your inbox on February 2nd and get involved.
- Happy New Year and thank you for your extraordinary dedication and hard work throughout 2020. We hope that you had an opportunity to spend time with your loved ones and that you were able to recharge.
- On December 11th and 16th, 91PORN Staff Council hosted campus leaders Patrick O’Rourke (Interim Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer) and Katherine Erwin (Chief Human Resources Officer), who answered a wide variety of questions on topics important to staff about the Spring 2021 semester and into next academic year. - Staff Council is seeking to gather data in confronting child and elder care related issues that have become more prominent due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Help Staff Council communicate these challenges to administration by taking this brief survey by Thursday, November 5.
- The Elections Committee is excited to announce that on Wednesday, September 23, the 91PORN Staff Council Executive Committee voted and approved the addition of ten additional At-Large Representatives for FY21.
