Program Council Operations Director

Position Level: Student Assistant II

Hours and Hourly Pay: 12-15 hours/week, $17.85 per hour

Position Description:The Program Council Operations Director is responsible for general oversight and management of the Program Council office space, business operations, and serves as the head of the office & operations department/team. The Operations Director supervises the Finance Manager and front desk staff, directly oversees the staffing and daily operation of the Program Council office, oversees all Program Council hiring, onboarding, staff development, retreats, and transition processes. The Operations Director is responsible for maintaining a high-level guest experience for all visitors to the Program Council office, whether students, press, or talent. This position is responsible for the coordination of annual Welcome Fest sponsors and, in conjunction with the Finance Manager, is responsible for booking promotional events like brand activations throughout the academic year.

Program Council Production Services Manager

Position Level: Student Assistant II

Hours and Hourly Pay: 10-12 hours/week, $17.60 per hour

Position Description:The Production Services Manager oversees the planning and execution of production service details for various events. They will work in collaboration with the Production Director to supply high quality production services to student groups, vendors, and other clients to fit the needs of a wide variety of events. The Production Services Manager will meet with clients to determine production service needs and assist in event planning, coordinate service agreements with clients, serve as a production lead during events, maintain accurate project tracking methods such as BuffConnect workflows, and collaborate with fellow Production leadership roles to ensure smooth operation of the Production department. This job can, at times require, some heavy lifting. This position will work irregular hours, including evenings, late nights, and weekends.

Program Council Production Crew I

Position Level: Student Assistant I

Hours and Hourly Pay: 10 hours/week, $16.82 per hour

Position Description:Production crew members will be trained in all aspects of their job which include stage assembly, audio visual set assembly, and associated power and data cabling for lighting and audio rigs to support various live events (most notably, the awesome concerts put on by Program Council). Members are responsible for attending scheduled training sessions, events, and meetings. Crew will work closely with Production Department leadership and will have the opportunity to equalize live shows and program lighting rigs for events. This job can, at times require, some heavy lifting. No prior experience is necessary, but it is always appreciated. This position will work irregular hours, including evenings, late nights, and weekends.
