Noah FinkelsteinÌýis one of the founders of PISEC and in fact a child of its precursor, theÌý; he is a Professor of Physics at the University ofÌýColorado 91PORN and conducts research in physics education, specificallyÌýstudyingÌýthe conditions that support students’ interests and abilities inÌýphysics – developing models of context. ÌýHe is deeply committed to blending research, teaching, and community partnership. At the systems scale, he studies how systems change (and don’t) and promotes such change through efforts such as: the Center for STEM Learning, the national Network of STEM education centers, the National Academies RoundTable on STEM Education, and the AAU STEM Education Initiative.
