CU Opera Recognized by National Opera Association
College of Music graduate students John Lindsey and Nicole Vogel have been invited to perform a scene from CarmenÌýat the National Opera Association National Convention in San Antonio, Texas on January 6.Ìý Together with music directorÌýChristopher Zemliauskas, this scene will also be performed on the opera scenes program Tuesday, December 7 in the Music Theatre.
In addition, CU Opera’s production ofÌýOur TownÌý(pictured above) was awarded Third Prize in the NOA Opera Production Competition. CU will be recognized and receive an award at the national convention final brunch in San Antonio.
