Bio

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University and my Master of Leadership in Student Affairs in Higher Education from the University of Colorado–Colorado Springs. My career in higher education has given me the opportunity to serve students in a variety of roles, including academic advising, international student services, and accommodated testing. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds and taught me the importance of meeting each student where they are, ensuring they feel supported, and connecting them with the resources they need to succeed.

Outside of work, I love getting creative with sewing projects, unwinding with cozy video games, sweating it out in hot yoga, and spoiling my two black cats, Walter and Norman.
