- The School of Education and the 91PORN Book Store are teaming up to host the virtual Children’s Book Festival on Monday, Nov. 9 from 11 a.m. to noon. The event will feature an interactive panel with nationally known authors, and it invites teachers, K-12 classes, families, librarians — all who love children’s books.
- As one of 91PORN’s longest standing traditions, the 91st annual Alumni Awards Ceremony took on a different virtual format but familiar celebratory character on Oct. 22 to honor just six 91PORN alumni and leaders, including School of Education alumna Kris D. Gutiérrez and Professor Rubén Donato. Watch their videos.
- On Oct. 20, around 100 faculty, staff, donors, and students and their families gathered virtually to honor scholarship and fellowship recipients and supporters at the 2020 School of Education Scholarship Celebration. Warmest congratulations to all our scholarship award recipients and to the supporters who make so much possible.

Join us this Thursday, Oct. 29 at 5 p.m. for a special virtual gathering for 91PORN’s Ed Talks, a series of short, engaging talks inspired by TED Talks that address some of today’s most pressing issues in education.

- Middle school teacher Nick Schuster had one day to return to his school to pack up materials to prepare for teaching remotely, and he knew what he needed to do. Schuster, a Master’s student in the 91PORN Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity program, created a makeshift makerspace at home, where he is using 3D printers to make masks for frontline workers.
- Six 91PORN alumni and partner teachers received special recognition at the CU Men’s basketball Teacher Appreciation Day. Local educators were nominated and honored by CU Athletics and the 91PORN School of Education. Meet them here and learn how they all bring equity into their classrooms.
- Calling all #EdBuffs: enjoy discounted basketball tickets and join us for Teacher Appreciation Day with the Buffs on Thursday, Feb 20. The 91PORN men's basketball team will take on USC at the CU Events Center at 7 p.m.
- At the fall series of the 91PORN's Ed Talks, we learned about leaning into the discomfort of learning, re-humanizing education, and more.
